Shamrock Smoothie

1 frozen banana, sliced

1 cup spinach

1 kiwi, plus additional kiwi slices for garnish

2 tbsp hulled hemp hearts (for added protein)

½ cup plain Greek yogurt

6oz coconut milk (I like the Toasted Coconut-Almond Milk from Califia Farms)

⅓ cup packed fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish

4 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Combine banana, one kiwi, spinach, yogurt, coconut milk, mint and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth.

  1. If you like, cut kiwi slices into shamrock shapes and thread onto a skewer. Serve the smoothie garnished with the kiwi and mint.
